본 논문의 목적은 네덜란드 기독교철학자인 헤르만 도예베르트의 국가에 대한 개념을 비판적으로 고찰하는 데 있다. 일반은총과 창조의 법질서라는 신칼빈주의 세계관의 중심개념을 바탕으로 자신의 철학적 입장을 세우는 도예베르트는 하나의 사회적 개체 구조로서 국가를 창조의 법질서에 종속되는 불변하는 제도로 보면서도 타락으로 생겨난 제도로 간주한다. 어떻게 타락으로 생겨난 제도가 최초의 창조의 법질서 안에도 존재할 수 있는가? 이 양립 불가능할 것 같은 질문에 대해 도예베르트는 창조의 법질서와 일반은총을 자세히 설명함으로써 두 주장을 양립가능하게 만든다. 그럼에도 불구하고 국가에 대한 도예베르트의 견해에는 해결되지 않는 주장이 존재한다. 이 논문은 헤르만 도예베르트의 국가개념을 자세히 살펴보고 그 안에 존재하는 양립불가능한 점을 비판적으로 살핀 후 가능한 몇 가지 대안을 제시한다. |

Herman Dooyeweerd, who establishes his own philosophy on the basis of Neo-Calvinistic world-view which can be described not only into the framework of creation, fall and redemption but also into the notion of common grace and the creation order, regards the state as the institution arisen from fall, not the institution unfolded from creation. Nevertheless, he believes that the structural principle of the state belongs to creation order(law-side). how can the states as the institution arisen from fall have invariant structural principles belonging to creation order(law-side)? This article deals with the possible answers of this question, through a right understanding of common grace and the creation order. |
