| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 윤동주의 <십자가>시어에 나타난 시인의 섬세한 내면세계를 밀도 있게 분석하여 그의 깊은 실존적 고뇌와 성숙한 자기완성에 이르는 과정에 대한 통찰을 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 5연으로 된 시를 세 부분(1연, 2연과 3연, 4연과 5연)으로 구성하여 각 영역의 주제를 실존의 렌즈로 재조명하였다. <십자가>를 해석할 도구로 실존적 인간이해에 기초한로 ‘실존적 불안,’ ‘실존적 절망,’ ‘실존적 자기실현’이란 세 가지 개념을 활용하였다. <십자가>에 대한 기존 자료는 대부분 일제 강점기에 조국을 상실한 시인의 고뇌와 저항적인 생애에 초점을 두고 있다. 그렇지 않으면 예수와 같은 희생적인 자기희생의 결의를 다짐하는 숭고한 신앙심을 강조한다. 그러나 본 연구는 시대적 암울과 개인의 고뇌; 민족상실에 대한 절망과 개인의 유한성에 대한 절망; 민족의 해방과 개인의 자기실현이라 포맷을 구조로 시인의 존재성에 대해 총체적 접근을 시도하였다. 그러면서도 시인의 정신적 영적 인격적인 성숙을 시어를 통해 포착하고자 했다. <십자가>는 행복한 예수를 닮고자 십자가가 허락되기를 기다리는 한 존재의 진정성 있는 기도로서 불안과 절망을 넘어 자기실현에 이르고자 하는 우리에게 용기를 주는 아름다운 표상이 될 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | This study analysis in detail the deeper inner world based on sense and sensibility of the poet Yoon Dong-Ju in the work of <The Cross> to gain an insight reaching for the completion of self-actualization in the process of existential suffering. For this, three parts of collection were constructed from the first, the second and the third, and the fifth and the fourth among five verses and each theme in the three parts were focused on with a lens of existence. Three themes which are ‘existential anxiety’, ‘existential despair,’ ‘existential self-actualization’ were used for as a tool of interpretation of the poem. The preceeding studies were focused on the poet’s life with agony and resistance under the Japanese colonial era and the poet’s noble spirit in his faithful belief regarding his sacrificial determination like Jesus. But this study tried to approach wholistic understanding of the poet’s inner being with the foundation of three polemic themes: the periodic darkness vs the personal agony; despair of the loss of the nation vs personal despair in the human finitude; the liberation of the nation vs self-actualization. The work of <The Cross> would be a beautiful-representation of prayer to bestow courage to all of us who want to seek self-actualization in his/her faith beyond the existential limitation of anxiety and despair and to resemble like the happy Jesus Christ. |
