본 연구는 삶의 극적인 위기를 통해 변화된 외상후성장 가운데 어떤 영적인 성장과 변형이 주어졌는가를 살핀다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 외상의 심리적 충격과 외상후성장에 있어서 개인적인 믿음과 종교가 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위해 성경의 몇몇 인물들을 사례로 들어 살펴보았다. 특히 죽음의 위기에서 살아난 성경인물의 생존자들을 중심으로 생애 중요한 시기에서 한 인간이 어떻게 하나님과 대면하여 영적인 통찰과 성숙이 이루어지는가에 초점을 맞추었다. 성경에는 삶의 우여곡절을 겪은 인물들이 나타나는데, 이는 본 연구의 경험적인 실례에도 잘 부합된다. 외상후성장에서 영적인 성장은 신체적인 성장과 심리적인 성장에 있어서도 매우 중요하다. 그러므로 기독교상담은 외상으로 인해 고통에 처해있는 내담자가 긍정적인 영적대처로 영적인 성장을 함으로써 하나님과의 관계형성을 할 수 있도록 조력해야 한다.

This study investigates about the spiritual growth and the transformed appearance as the result of posttraumatic growth recovered from a dramatic crisis in the life. For this purpose, this study selected the cases of some figures in the Bible so as to find out how the personal faith and his/her religion influence on the relationship between his/her psychological shock and his/her posttraumatic growth after experiencing a trauma. Especially, through some real examples of people survived from the trauma crisis of death, this study examines how a man gets rich spiritual insight and maturement after meeting the God at the critical and challenging time of his/her life. As the Bible dynamically describes the dramatic ups and downs of tremendous figures, it is satisfactorily met as the experimental cases for this study. In the posttraumatic growth, the spiritual growth is very important as much as physical and psychological growth. So Christian counseling should help the client suffering from his/her trauma to form the relationship with the God by their spiritually growing through the positive spiritual coping. |
