현대 기독교 여성들이 모든 삶의 영역에서 기독교인의 면모를 보이며, 그 삶의 역할의 지평을 넓혀가는 일이야말로 이 시대를 향한 기독교의 사명이다. 이러한 사명을 위해서는 바른 성경적 여성관이 정립되어야 한다. 여성은 하나님께서 뜻을 세워 자신의 형상과 모양대로 지음받은 독립된 개체로서 세상을 다스릴 사명을 부여받은 존재이고, 인격적 존엄성을 지닌 주체적 존재이며, 자신에 대한 책임을 지닌 존재이다. 또한 그들은 동일하게 성령의 은사를 받았으며, 주님을 섬기도록 부르심을 받았다. 그러므로 하나님께서 여성들을 부르신 어떠한 영역에서의 책임과 봉사로부터 그들을 내몰지 않아야 한다. 반면 기독교 여성들은 사회에서 진취적으로 충분한 기량을 발휘하며 살아가고 있는 것처럼 교회에서의 사역과 봉사의 섬김 부분에 있어서도 일관된 삶의 태도를 지니도록 해야 한다. 기독교 교육적 접근을 통하여 바른 성경적 여성관을 정립하여 기독교 여성들이 신앙과 삶이 일치된 주체적이고 독립적인 존재로 살아가도록 할 수 있을 것이다. |

That modern Christian women make their appearance as Christians in every areas of life and broaden the roles of those lives is the mission of Christianity toward this age. In order to carry out this mission, the biblical view of womanhood should be defined. Woman is that God created her as the independent individual being in his own image, the being charged with the mission to dominate over all other living things, and the independent being to have the personal dignity and to take the responsibility for herself. Woman also receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, and is called to service the Lord. So, women shouldn''t be driven out of the responsibility and service in any areas where God call them. Whereas, as Christian women develop their areas progressively and show their abilities to carve out and broaden their fields in the society, they should take a coherent stand of life for the ministry and service in the church. Because Christian women should live as the independent being to show the behavior and attitude based on faith in all living areas. Through Christian educational approach, the biblical view of womanhood is properly defined and Christian women may live as the independent being in accord with faith and life. |
