익사자를 줄일 수 있는 최선의 방법은 무엇인가? 익사자를 줄이기 위해서는 구조를 위한 장비, 요원, 기술 등을 증강하는 일이 필요할 것이다. 그러나 원천적으로 익사자를 없애기 위해서는 빠질 수 있는 깊은 물을 없애야 한다. 물이 없다면 구조를 위한 각종 수고는 불필요할 것이다. 문화는 물과 같다. 오늘날 교회에서 주일학교를 지나온 청소년들이 자라면서, 그리고 교육을 받아가면서 도매금으로 세상에 넘어가는 이유는 다름 아닌 세속화된 문화의 영향 때문이다. 기독교와 도무지 양립할 수 없는 이 시대의 문화적 조류 속에 자신도 모르게 동화되어 가는 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 |
This article presents secularism as the most dominant thought in the modern culture. It seems that the secularism originating from the Enlightment of the 18th century has nourished modern naturalism and secular humanism. And we conclude from them that the major anti-Christian thoughts in the modern culture, such as ethical relativism, intellectual agnosticism, cynicism, nihilism and Epicureanism etc., have been developed. Finally, we briefly propose what Christians should do towards the secularized culture. |
