이 논문의 목적은 오늘날 유행처럼 번지고 있는 영성문화에 대한 기독교 세계관적 조망을 제시하려는 것이다. 근대 이성주의 문화의 쇠퇴는 새로운 문화의 토대를 찾으려는 다양한 시도를 불러왔다. 이는 전통적인 종교 부흥운동뿐 아니라 심리학과 사회학, 경영학, 예술 분야에 걸쳐 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 영성 복원 운동은 환영할 만한 것이지만 때로는 신비주의적이며 종교혼합주의적 경향에다 인본주의적 요소까지 부각되고 있어 주의가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 성경적 영성이 오늘의 영성문화와 어떻게 다른지를 밝히려 한다. 아울러 왜 영성문화 속에서 성경적 영성이해에 기초한 영적 분별력이 필수적인지를 논하려한다. |

This study aims to present a biblical perspective on spirituality culture in vogue today. The decline of modern rationalistic culture encourages various endeavors to search for a new foundation of culture. Active explorations are made in traditional religions as well as in psychology, scociology, management, and arts. Such spiritual recovery movements are desirable. However, superstitious, syncretistic tendency, and humanistc elements call for caution. This paper shows how the biblical spirituality differs from our spirituality culture. It also argues why a biblical discernment based on the scriptual understanding of spirituality is necessary in today’s socio-cultural atmosphere. |
