| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 호스피스교육 프로그램을 제공한 후 임종돌봄 태도와 호스피스 지식 및 죽음에 대한 태도에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전후 실험설계이다. 연구대상은 J지역에 소재한 일개 기독교 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 81명으로 (실험군 41명, 대조군 40명), 호스피스 교육은 1학기 매 주 1회씩 150분간 총 14주간에 걸쳐서 진행하였다. 자료 수집은 2014년 3월 3일부터 6월 10일까지였으며, 자료 분석은 SPSS/PC 18.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 호스피스 교육 중재 후 실험군의 임종돌봄 태도, 호스피스지식, 죽음에 대한 태도는 대조군보다 각각 유의하게 증가된 것으로 나타났다(t=5.77, p=.000; t=4.86, p=.000; t=4.05, p=.000). 둘째, 중재 전ㆍ후 실험군의 임종돌봄 태도, 호스피스지식, 죽음에 대한 태도는 통계적으로 모두 유의하게 증가하였다(t=7.69, p=.000; t=13.14, p=.000; t=11.24, p=.000). 본 연구결과를 볼 때 호스피스 교육은 대학생의 임종돌봄 태도와 호스피스 지식 및 죽음에 대한 태도를 향상시키는데 효과적인 교육임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제공된 호스피스 교육은 대학생이 호스피스 대상자를 이해하고 도울 수 있으며, 죽음에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 가질 수 있도록 대학교육과정에서 다양한 대학생들에게 확대 적용이 필요하다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of hospice education on attitude toward end-of-life care, knowledge of hospice and attitude toward death of university students. This study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Subjects of this study included 81 students(41 students for the experimental and 40 students for the control group). The hospice education was provided 150 min. a week for 14 sessions from March to June, 2014. The data were analyzed with t-test, x²-test, paired t-test with SPSS/PC 18.0 program. Levels of attitude toward end-of-life care, knowledge of hospice and attitude toward death significantly increased in the experimental group compared to the control group after the hospice education. These findings suggest that the hospice education was effective in developing positive attitude toward end-of-life care, knowledge of hospice and attitude toward death. Therefore, it is necessary to broadly apply this education or related programs to university students. |
