본 연구는 기독교 상담 안에 있는 다양성을 살펴보고, 이러한 다양성을 어떻게 이해해야 하는지 방향성을 제시하는 연구이다. 먼저 기독교 상담과 관련하여 목회상담, 기독교 심리치료 용어가 함께 사용되고 있지만, 이들 간에 명확한 구분은 이루어지고 있지 않으며, 학자들마다 구분하는 방법 역시 상이하다. 또한 통합에 대한 관점 역시 다양하여, 학자들마다 차이가 있으며 이롤 통하여 기독교 상담 모델을 명명하고 분류하는 과정에서도 차이가 있다. 뿐만 아니라 실제 기독교 상담자들에게 기독교 상담에 대한 서로 다른 이해가 존재함이 경험적 연구를 통하여서도 증명되었다. 이와 같은 기독교 상담의 다양성을 바라보는 입장은 절대적인 진리를 이성을 통해 발견할 수 있다는 모더니즘적 입장과 절대적이며 객관적인 진리는 없으며 각자 개인의 해석과 관점만 존재한다는 포스트모더니즘적 입장이 혼재되어 있는데, 본 연구자는 모더니즘적 사고와 포스트모더니즘적 사고에서 벗어나는 접근을 제안한다. 이는 인간의 이해는 언제나 오류가 존재하지만, 절대적인 기독교 진리는 존재함을 고백하는 방식으로 이루어져야 한며, 이러한 태도로 기독교 상담을 바라보아야 함을 제안하였다. |
| 영문 초록 |
This study aims to look for diversity of Christian counseling and suggest the direction how to understand that diversity. First of all, in Christian counseling there are many different understandings about terms used in and the way how to integrate Christianity and counseling. Moreover, through some empirical researches it was proven that actually Christian counselors have different understandings and different perceptions about Christian counseling. Then, how do we understand this diversity? Understanding diversity of Christian counseling is related to the way how to see the truth. There are two major perspectives about getting the truth. These are modern understanding and postmodern understanding. These two perspectives are against each other. However this researcher suggests that when we understand Christian counseling, we need to go beyond these two competitive perspectives. It admits human finitude and God’s Truth all together. |
