본 논문은 현재 기독교 세계관 공부와 다양한 기독교 학문 연구가 왜 실제 삶으로 이어지지 않는가의 문제를 행위에 대한 동기 부여 이론의 관점에서 고찰하고 현재 기독교 세계관의 실천성을 확보하기 위한 대안으로 기독교 세계관 연구에 대한 덕 윤리학적인 접근을 제시하고자 한다. 덕스러운 성품을 갖는다는 것은 덕스러운 행위를 실행할 때 아무런 내적인 저항 없이 자연스러운 감정의 발로로 실행하게 된다는 것을 의미한다. 기독교 세계관을 통한 연구의 결과를 덕의 목록 안에 포함시키고 그러한 덕들을 자신의 성품으로 소유하기 위해서는 그 덕들을 자신의 성품으로 삼고 살아가는 사람들(모형)의 행동을 관찰하고 존경의 감정을 통해 그 행동을 모방하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 모형론에 기초하여 기독교 세계관에서 말하는 덕스러운 행위를 모방할 때에 비로소 우리가 알고 있는 기독교적인 세계관의 신념체계가 지식에만 머무르는 것이 아닌 성품화되고 행위로 실천될 수 있을 것이다. |

The aim of the paper is to give an answer to the question ‘why are the Christian worldview studies nearly powerless to change our everyday life?’ In order to do it, first, I assume that the ‘voluntarist’ approach to motivation theories in action is more preferable to the ‘intellectualist’ approach. Then, based on this approach, I show that virtue ethics combined with the Christian worldview studies can be an approach that strengthens the power of practice. According to virtue ethics, virtues are character traits which make virtuous actions execute with preferable feelings. Virtuous persons do virtuous actions willingly. If we include the result of studies based on the Christian worldview within a comprehensive list of virtues, we might increase practicality of the Christian worldview by using the method of virtue ethics. one of the methods which we focus on is so-called ‘exemplarism’, which holds that the best way to form virtuous character traits is to emulate the actions of virtouous persons by the feeling of admiration. When we repeatedly emulate the virtuous actions from virtuous persons from a standpoint of the Christian worldview, we can not only have noetic structure which the Christian worldveiw studies offer, but also live our life in accordance with it willingly. |
