| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 창세기 1장 1절부터 2장 4절까지에 나타난 '천지창조'를 중심으로 성경적 관점의 예술미(藝術美) 탐구를 목적으로 하였다. 예술의 본질과 기원에 대한 현대적 논의가 다원화되고 상대화되어가는 가운데, 성경적 관점에서 미학의 이론적 기초를 재조명하고, 현대 예술이 직면한 의미상실, 기준의 혼란에 대한 통찰의 제공 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성경적 관점의 예술미는 단순히 한 개인의 주관적인 미적 감각이나 창작 행위에 국한되지 않으며 하나님이 창조하신 피조물에 대한 심도 깊은 통찰과 지각(知覺)을 통해 비로소 온전히 이해될 수 있다. 그러므로 진정한 예술미는 예술가이신 하나님과의 관계 속에서만 조명이 가능하며, 이는 곧 하나님의 초월적 계시 안에서 드러난 속성임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 천지창조 과정에서 나타난 예술미는 다양성, 고유성, 통일성이라는 예술의 근본 속성을 주도면밀하게 드러내고 있으며 이는 질서와 조화를 이루는 가운데 완전성, 조화, 명료성을 통해 예술미의 극치를 보여준다는 것이다. 이를 통해 모든 창조물은 고유한 아름다움을 지니면서도 전체 창조 질서 안에서 완벽한 통일성을 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 종합하면, 오늘날 예술의 타락과 문화적 혼란은 창조자이자 예술가이신 하나님의 영성과 창조 원리를 망각(沒却)한 데서 비롯된 것이다. 또한 성경적 관점에서 예술미는 창조를 통해 인류에게 아름다움을 선물하신 최고의 예술가이신 하나님의 주권에 속한 것임을 알 수 있다. |
| 영문 초록 | This study aimed to explore the aesthetics of art from a biblical perspective, focusing on the “creation of heaven and earth” described in Genesis 1:1-2:4. As contemporary discussions on the nature and origins of art become increasingly diversified and relativized, this study seeks to reexamine the foundations of biblical aesthetics through a biblical perspective and explore whether it offers insight into the loss of meaning and confusion of standards faced by contemporary art. The results of this study are as follows. First, the biblical perspective on artistic beauty is not simply limited to an individual’s subjective aesthetic sense or creative activity, but can only be fully understood through a profound insight and perception of the creatures created by God. Therefore, true artistic beauty can only be illuminated in relation to God as the Artist, and it can be confirmed that this is an attribute revealed within God’s transcendent revelation. Second, the artistic beauty manifested in the process of creation reveals the fundamental attributes of art—diversity, uniqueness, and unity—in a meticulous manner, showing the pinnacle of artistic beauty through completeness, harmony, and clarity within order and balance. This demonstrates that all creation possesses its own unique beauty while forming a perfect unity within the overall order of creation. In summary, the degradation of art and cultural confusion today stem from the forgetting of the spirituality and principles of creation of God, the Creator and Artist. Furthermore, from a biblical perspective, it can be understood that artistic beauty belongs to the sovereignty of God, the supreme artist who gifted beauty to humanity through creation. |
