| 국문 초록 | 이 논문은 21세기 노인인구 증가와 구조의 변화에 의해 교회가 새로운 사역을 준비하도록 도전 받고 있는 상황에서 노인의 새로운 긍정적 이미지를 확립하고 이것을 기초로 실천적 프로그램을 개발하는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 현대화와 산업화의 결과로 생긴 은퇴 이후의 노년기가 노인차별주의에 의해 노인들의 실체와 다른 편견과 부정적 관념 속에서 분리되고 차별대우를 받고 있음을 지적한다. 노인차별주의는 노인들을 희생과 억압 속으로 가두는 결과를 초래하며 개인적 가치와 존엄성을 파괴하는 것이라고 주장한다. 노인들이 자아발전과 성취를 이루며 그들의 전 생애의 삶을 통해 개인과 사회 그리고 교회를 위해 가치와 의미 있는 삶을 영위할 수 있는 능력과 잠재력의 실체를 고려하며 사회적 편견을 극복하는 가운데 질적 삶과 존엄성 그리고 의미 있는 삶을 재발견하고자 신학적 전통의 관점과 신학적 발전방안을 제시한다. 끝으로 노인신학의 통합적 발전논리를 통해 영과 육의 상호작용의 중요성을 강조하는 통합적 발전 논리를 제시함으로써 성숙하는 노인의 발달을 위해 지속적인 개혁의 역동성을 제공한다. |
| 영문 초록 | It looks at the significance of demographic changes in the Korea elderly population and the World, the problems of modernization, and associated social ageism. For example, retirement, in a capitalistic society which places great emphasis on technology and instant decisions, places the elderly in a position where they are regarded as being of little economic value, eithers as workers or consumers. The wisdom and traditional leadership of the elderly are undervalued. It examines some of the key values of Christianity by means of a study of theology in the context of a positive image of the elderly. Christian tradition agree that spiritual and mental faculties may remain strong and even improve at this stage, andgave older people an exalted status as a gift, a blessed stage and a religious-ethical witness in life. The positive image of the elderly present in theological perspective (integratingdevelopmental logic) needs the affirmation and recognition of all generations, society and churches. The development and grawth toward personal and social wholeness, and maturity of spirit and body which old age can bring, accompanied by an integrating life style of turning inward, and turning outward by imitating the life of Jesus Christ can be the most valuable resource for the fulfillment of the elderly and the most dynamic solution for all their problems in society now and in future. |
