| 영문 초록 | Church is existing not only in the worship but also constant. Church is worship community. Church worship is mainly consisting of the preaching of the Word of God and the weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper. The primitive churches came together to celebrate the Lord's Supperand before it listened to the Words of the crucified and risen Christ. Both are interwoven with each other as two means of grace. Because of the fact that the Medieval Roman Church counterfeited the right celebration of the Lord's Supper, the Reformation emphasized the preaching of the Word at the cost of the Lord's Supper. It is sad to observe that the Korean churches don't have due respect for the Lord's Supper. They celebrate it very rarely, usually four times a year. It is desirable to have the preaching and the Lord's Supper together every Sunday, because it is an ecumenical tradition of church. The Korean churches should decide to follow this tradition to become and remain 'ecumenical.' |
