영문 초록 Florence Kluckhohn(1953), an anthropologist, described three general orientations to nature held by people in different cultures and at different times in history : (1) Man as subjugated to nature, living at the mercy of a powerful and uncompromising nature;(2) Man as above nature, dominating, exploiting, and controling the environment ; and (3) Man as an inherent part of nature, like animals, trees, and rivers, trying to live in harmony with the environment. Naturally, cultures are not singular in their orientation to nature, and it is likely that, although one of these views may predominate in a given society, and orientation may have elements of the other two. Thus, it is possible that societies hold aspects of all these orientations to one degree or another, although one may be a more salvert force. In the study there are various aspects of environment in the bible. First, God created all creatures and blessed man `be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it ; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.` The natural landscape elements have no spiritual meaning and man should cultivate the land, mountain, valley, seashore, the desert, etc. Only the wilderness there are many devils and ghosts. Second, There are two kinds of culture in the bible. God oriented culture(castle of Jerusalem) and Devil oriented culture(babylon). The former is good and the latter is evil. Third, Vertical and Horizontal direction dispersed as Jerusalem centered direction and curch centered direction and individual centered direction in the new testament. Fourth, There are second death and resurrection of the dead. (Rev. 20 : 14, I Corin 15 : 42) the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly man(Ⅱ peter 3:7). And the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night ; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up(Ⅱ Peter 3:10). And the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea and new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven(Rev 21:1,2).
