| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 우리나라 기독교대안학교의 교육성과를 알아보기 위해 세 개의 학교를 선정하여 이에 대한 질적 사례연구를 수행하였다. 기독교대안학교에서의 교육성과에 대한 분석은 학교가 추구하는 교육목표를 얼마나 달성하고 있는지를 살펴보는 방식을 택했다. 본 연구를 통해 기독교대안학교들은 두 가지로 요약할 수 있는 교육성과를 얻고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 먼저, 기독교대안학교들은 당장에 나타나는 교육성과 보다는 보다 내면적이고 장기적인 교육성과를 추구하고 있었다. 잠정적으로 발견할 수 있는 내면적인 교육성과에는 학생들의 신앙과 인성의 성장, 삶의 목표설정, 학업에 대한 자발성과 흥미, 학교에 대한 높은 만족도 등을 들 수 있다. 다음, 이러한 교육목표를 추구하는 과정에서 학교의 구성원들이 함께 배우고 성장하는 배움의 공동체가 구현되고 있음을 중요한 교육성과로 볼 수 있다. 기독교대안학교들이 이러한 교육성과를 얻는 데는 세 가지 정도의 요인이 작용하는 것으로 보인다. 첫째, 학교의 규모가 작고 신앙을 토대로 이루어진 교육공동체라는 점이다. 둘째, 교직원들의 높은 헌신도가 학교의 교육성과를 낳게 하는 중요 요인으로 보인다. 셋째, 학교를 설립한 교회의 물질적, 정신적 후원이 중요하게 작용하고 있다. |
| 영문 초록 | I had selected three Christian alternative schools and researched a qualitative case study of the schools to find the educational outcomes of Christian alternative schools in Korea. This study tried to find how much the schools achieve their goals for analyzing the outcomes of Christian alternative schools. This study shows that the alternative schools get two educational outcomes. First, the Christian alternative schools pursued to get internal and long-term outcomes rather than apparent and short-term outcomes. The internal outcomes that I had found are the growth of students'' faith and personality, setting of goals and visions, spontaneity and interests of study, and high satisfaction with their schools. Second, the schools became learning communities in which the school members learn and grow together. The Christian alternative schools were able to get the educational outcomes because of three factors. First, the Christian alternative schools are small-sized schools and educational communities based on Christian faith. Second, most teachers of the schools are highly committed to the schooling. Third, the financial and spiritual support of the churches which built the schools take a significant role in the schooling |
