| 국문 초록 | 본이 논문은 학교교육이 올바른 인간교육을 기르는 데 실패한 이유의 근본적인 이유가 교육의 종교적 차원을 배제했기 때문으로 보고, 교육에서의 종교적 차원을 가르쳐야 할 정당성을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해, 교육의 인식론적, 윤리학적, 예술적, 종교적 차원에서 학교교육의 실태를 비판적으로 고찰하였다. 인간교육의 실패는 근본적으로 종교적 차원의 상실에 서 비롯된 것이다. 즉, 오늘날 학교는 ‘교육의 종교적 중립성’이라는 미명 하에 교육에서 종교를 배제하였다. 그러나 전인교육을 위해서는 그 자체가 총체적 세계의 일부이면서 동시에 다른 영역의 지식으로 하여금 총체적 세계를 볼 수 있는 마음을 형성하게 만드는 종교적 차원을 가르쳐야 한다. 기독교도 교육의 종교적 차원을 충실하게 반영하려는 노력을 경주해야 한다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this paper is to discuss the validity of teaching a religious dimension in education. School education fails to bringing up children to the whole person. The fundamental reason of this seems to be seen excluding religious dimension in education. The religious dimension in education plays a crucial role in forming a whole knowledge in that it is a portion of whole knowledge as well as integrating all knowledge. Nevertheless, Korean schools tend to exclude religious education under name of ''religious neutrality'' in education. The exclusion of a religious dimension in education results in short of the whole person education which has balancing diverse aspects of human, such as a mental, moral, aesthetic and religious aspect. In conclusion, religious education is necessary in those religion is a mode of reality and one of forms of knowledge as well as every human has a religious root. Therefore, a key task of Christian education should explore and specify a religious imension in education from the perspective of Christianity. |
