| 국문 초록 | 이 연구의 목적은 안식일의 핵심교리를 통해 아름다움과 예술에 대한 올바른 이해를 제공하여 그 본연의 역할을 제시하는 것에 있다. 인류의 예술에 관한 역사는 아름다움을 향한 인간의 끊임없는 갈망을 보여준다. 낭만주의 이후로 예술은 자기표현의 수단이 되었으며 이제 아름다움의 의미는 변했다. 현 시대를 사는 그리스도인들은 아름다움을 위해 자신의 의지를 진리에 내어드리는 대신에, 예술의 아름다움이 인간의 혼란과 투쟁과 고통을 표현되어지는 자율에서 오는 것이라는 문화를 당연하게 받아들이는 것처럼 보인다. 그러나 인간의 영혼은 그들에게 희망을 열어주고 추악하고 고통스러운 삶에서 휴식을 제공할 수 있는 아름다움을 찾아 해매고 있으며 여전히 그것에 목마르다. 이에 본서는 인간에 대한 아름다움의 필요성은 궁극적으로 땅과 하늘의 평화의 형태로 하나님에 의해 성취된다고 주장한다. 그리고 그것은 특별히 안식일에 대한 하나님의 창조를 기억하는 것이 미적 이론의 기초를 세우는 것이라고 제안한다. 안식일은 인류가 죄에 빠지기 전에 제정되었으며 (창 1), 이스라엘 백성이 약속의 땅에 들어가기에 앞서 반드시 지켜야 할 계명으로 주어졌다 (출 20, 신 5). 안식일은 즐겁고 아름다우며 영원의 쉼이 있는 날인 것이다. 그것은 처음이자 마지막이신 창조주가 심어두신 기쁨의 예표로, 그리스도인들은 안식일을 거룩히 지키며 하나님의 창조와 그의 구속사역이 끝난 것을 기념하며 기쁨으로 그의 영원한 나라를 기대한다. 안식일의 한 측면으로서 예술은 그 아름다움을 통해 이 세상의 억압된 고통에서 잠시 벗어나게 해주며 하나님의 영광을 표현한다는 유사한 의미를 가지고 있다. 그러므로 본서는 안식일과 아름다움의 경험은 미래 지향적이며, 그 종말론적 소망은 즐거움과 기쁨으로 나타나고, 창조주와 그의 아들과 성령의 구속사역 안에서 올바른 신앙으로 인도 할 수 있음을 관찰하고자 하였다. 첫 번째 절에서는 안식일 신학이 창조와 구속을 중심으로 관찰되어지며, 두 번째 절에서는 안식일의 핵심 교리에 기초하여 기독교 미학과 예술의 역할이 연구된다. |
| 영문 초록 | This study argues that the need of beauty for human is ultimately fulfilled by God in the form of peace here on earth and ultimately heaven. It specifically suggests that memorializing God’s creation of the Sabbath builds the foundation of aesthetic theory. Sabbath was given to humanity before the fall of humanity into sin (Gen 1) and as a commandment (Exod 20, Deut 5) that preceded the entry into the Promised Land; it is a sign of the delights awaiting believers in the new heavens and earth. In the keeping of the Sabbath, therefore, believers celebrate the fact that God's works of creation and redemption are finished. As an aspect of Sabbath, beauty has the analogous meaning of foreshowing the glory of God as a break from the tyranny of this world. The experience of both the Sabbath and beauty are future-directed and lead one beyond his or herself to the transcendent and the eschatological. Christians contemplate the complex beauty of his works and are refreshed in communion with him, and they delight in the splendor of God’s beauty as they anticipate eternity spent with him. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to provide a right understanding of beauty and the arts through an observance of the Sabbath. For this reason, a theology of Sabbath is observed in the first part. For the following part, a biblical and theological examination of beauty and art, its essence, and the roles in this world as a facet of the Sabbath is given. |
