| 국문 초록 | 본 논문에서는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 주요 기술인 코딩을 교회 교육에 어떻게 활용할 수 있을 것인가에 대해 논의하였다. 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞아 코딩 교육이 세계적으로 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 한국에서도 코딩 교육이 매우 강조되고 있으며, 특히 2018년도부터 초․중․고등학교에서 코딩 교육이 의무화되었다. 이러한 코딩 교육의 확산은 과거에 비해 현저하게 성능이 향상된, 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 코딩 프로그램들의 출현에 기인한다. 스크래치, 엔트리 같은 코딩 도구를 이용해 어린이들도 손쉽게 코딩을 할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 따라 코딩을 학교 교육에 적용하는 여러 가지 시도들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 공립학교의 이런 추세와는 다르게 한국의 교회들이 교회 교육에 코딩 기술을 활용하는 사례는 거의 없었다. 그러나 FMnC가 선구적으로 시도하고 있는 코딩을 이용한 성경 교육 사례는 한국 교회가 교회 교육에 코딩을 적용할 수 있는 한 가지 좋은 모형이 될 것이다. 이 사례는 성경의 이야기를 가지고서 애니메이션이나 게임을 만든다. 이를 통해 코딩 능력도 향상되고 성경에 대한 이해도 깊어질 수 있다. 교회 교육에 코딩을 활용하는 것은 이제 시작이긴 하지만 앞으로 교회 교육의 효과성 제고에 의미 있게 기여할 수 있을 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | In this paper, we discussed how to use coding, a key technology of the 4th industrial revolution era, in church education. In the age of the 4th industrial revolution, coding education is becoming important worldwide. Coding education is highly emphasized in Korea, and it is mandatory in elementary, middle and high schools since 2018. The spread of this coding education is due to the emergence of readily available coding programs with significantly improved performance over the past. Using new coding tools such as Scratch and Entry, even children can easily make programs. Accordingly, various attempts have been made to apply coding to school education. However, unlike the trends in public schools, Korean churches rarely use coding in church education. However, FMnC's pioneering attempts to use coding skills in the Bible education will be a good model for Korean churches to apply coding to church education. In this case, students create animations and games with stories from the Bible. This will improve their coding skills and deepen their understanding of the Bible. The use of coding in church education is now the beginning, but it can contribute significantly to the effectiveness of future church education. |
