국문 초록 본 논문은 현대인들이 생성형 AI를 활용하는 과정에서 나타나는 ‘결정 위임’ 현상을 문제로 제기하고, 기독교 신학 관점에서 올바르게 생성형 AI를 사용하는 기준을 제시한다. 특히 AI 사용 과정에서 나타나는 결정의 핵심 주체와 책임이 사용자로부터 AI에게로 이동하는 현상을 ‘결정 위임’으로 규정하고, 국내 통계 자료와 국내·외 선행 연구를 통해 신뢰와 의존의 특성을 결정 위임 범위와 연결하여 검토한다. 이어 조직신학의 ‘하나님의 주권과 섭리’와 ‘자유의지 및 책임’에 관한 논의를 토대로 결정 위임에 대한 판단 기준을 정한 뒤, 사울과 다윗의 질문 행위를 성경 본문 주해를 중심으로 분석하되, 사건의 흐름과 인물의 태도 변화에 관한 내러티브적 관찰을 병행한 뒤, 그 결과를 바탕으로 현대인의 AI 사용과 유비적으로 비교한다. 마지막으로, 올바른 AI 사용에 관하여 신학적이고 실천적인 제언을 개인, 교회, 목회, 신학 교육 현장의 구체적인 예시를 들어 제시한다.
영문 초록 This study raises the issue of ‘delegating decisions to AI,’ which emerges as modern people use generative AI, and proposes criteria for the proper use of generative AI from a Christian theological perspective. Specifically, it defines ‘delegating decisions to AI’ as the phenomenon in which the core decision-making authority and responsibility shifts from the user to the AI during AI use. It examines the characteristics of trust and dependence in relation to the scope of decision delegation through domestic statistical data and prior domestic and international research. Next, it establishes criteria for decision delegation based on a systematic t heologica l discussion of ‘God ’s sovereignty and providence’ and ‘free will and responsibility.’ It then analyzes the questioning behavior of Saul and David, focusing on the biblical text, while also providing narrative observations of the flow of events and the changes in the characters’ attitudes, and compares the results with modern people’s use of AI by analogy. Finally, it offers theological and practical recommendations for the proper use of AI, with concrete examples for individuals, churches, pastoral ministry, and theological education, and highlights responsibility and discernment in real decisions.
