| 국문 초록 | 본 논문은 경제행위를 가치중립적인 자연적 현상으로 보려는 경제학의 한계를 지적하고, 사랑을 경제행위의 진정한 동기로 강조한다. 특히 자기애와 이기심을 구분한 아담 스미스의 주장을재조명하고, 사랑을 외면한 이기심이 만들어내는 문제점들을 지적한다. 사욕에 근거한 경제행위들은 무임승자, 외부성, 빈부격차 등의 문제들을 발생시키면서 시장실패를 주도하고 있다. 이러한문제들이 해결되고, 경제가 원만한 발전을 이루어가려면 하나님의 사랑이 실현되어야 한다. 하나님의 사랑과 접목된 자기애가 이기심을 통하여 타인사랑으로 나타날 때에 보이지 않는 손이 원하는 풍요로운 사회가 건설된다. 하나님의 사랑 안에서 이루어지는 경쟁은 패배자에게도 회생의 길을 열어주고, 사랑은 나눔의 경제를 통하여 불균형을 스스로 해소하는 힘을 갖고 있다. 하나님이원하는 청지기의 삶은 하나님의 사랑을 실천하는 삶이다. 앞으로 지속적인 경제발전과 풍요로운사회를 이루어가려면 경제인 각자가 이기심을 사욕이 아닌 사랑과 접목시켜가야 할 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | Although Adam Smith emphasizes economic behavior as a normative behavior based on self-love, most economists focuses on natural phenomenon to find out the natural law. The distinction between selfishness and self-love is not seriously as an essential factor to analyze economic models. The market failure and recent financial crisis are caused by moral hazard. The problem of free rider, externality, unfair distribution etc. occurs by lack of love. If we want to enjoy affluent society, we have to share God''s love. Without God''s love, we can''t love neighbor and one self. Self-love that is connected with God''s love enables to build up affluent, harmonized society. Selfish person does not sacrifice his interest for the greater interest of others. The economic development driven by selfishness arouses social tension and broadens gap between the rich and poor. The love has the power to solve problems of unbalance in the community. The people who are possessed with God''s love are led by an invisible hand to make the same distribution of necessaries. The competition in the free market is ideal only in love. The self-interest should be combined with self-love and not with selfishness for a sustainable growth of economic society. |
